1. About these terms
These terms apply to anyone who visits melrosemachineworks.com (the "site"), operated by Melrose Companies LLC, doing business as Melrose Machine Works ("we", "us", "our"), 45 29th St., San Francisco, CA 94110. By using the site you agree to them. Purchases are also governed by our Terms of Sale.
2. Interest list
Joining our list means you agree to receive emails about drops, purchase links, and product updates. Sign up only with your own address. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we may remove addresses that bounce or appear to be automated.
3. Content and intellectual property
The designs, photographs, logos, text, and the Melrose Machine Works name and seal belong to Melrose Companies LLC. You may view and share links to the site, but you may not copy, reproduce, or use our content or marks without written permission. If you send us ideas, suggestions, or photos of your pen, you let us use them without payment or obligation, and we will credit you if we share a photo publicly.
4. Acceptable use
Do not scrape the site, interfere with its operation, attempt to access systems you are not authorized to use, or use automated tools to join the list or claim purchase links. Do not impersonate us or anyone else.
5. Third-party services
Our site links to Instagram and YouTube and uses Stripe for checkout. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
6. Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this site and aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. If something does not work for you, email support@melrosemachineworks.com and we will fix it or help another way.
7. Disclaimer
The site and its content are provided as is. We work to keep information accurate but it may contain errors, and we may change or remove content at any time. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses from using or relying on the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Disputes and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and disputes are handled as described in section 11 of our Terms of Sale. We may update these terms by posting a new version here; continued use of the site after that means you accept the change.
